You are right. It is a good read. The war against abortion on demand is a multi front effort. I am in the fight as a politician, but I actually see myself only as a supporter of the front line troops on the side walks near clinics. I also blieve writers at every level from network journalists to local bloggers are a major part of the total war. (Well ok don't count on net work journalist.) As a politician I may actually switch part of my efforts away from Roe vs. Wade and look more at protecting the free speech rights of people who speak against murder.
My wife was born in South Korea, and still keeps an eye on what goes on there. They have a 100% draft that requires all young men to serve at least 2 years in the army. That plus a lot of American military support maintains the stalemate at the DMZ. The South Koreans also use what they call the Sunshine Policy. They use every thing from radio broadcasts to cultural exchange to let the North Korean people have a glimps of the truth. The North Korean government censors as much as they can but it is the little things like athletes talking at sporting events that are starting to work. (That is why the south invited the north to march in with them at the olympics.) There is a small but growing underground flow of truth in a communist country that is doing what the militaries cannot.
Now back to abortion. Politicians should never pass on the chance to overturn Roe vs. Wade, but showing a mother what is going on inside her is the sunshine policy.
