Lott explains himself on "talk radio"

And so does Diane Feinstein. Care to choose which senator you prefer?

Matthew 25:34-40. Take some time to see what some of the mandates for being a Christian are. You can not have a Christian nation that does not believe in the very mandates that have been laid out in the Bible. If nations and governments are made of people. They will represent what the people are made of. If this is suppose to be a Christian nation, why does talk radio who claims to represent the Christian Right go against a nation representing what individual Christians are suppose to represent? That is perplexing to me. "Talk radio" would have you believe that the whole should be different than the sum of its parts. Saying, individuals should be a certain way, but collectively, they should stand for something else. And lastly, I doubt if the there is a more widely accepted radio talk show host than Rush Limbaugh. But he is one of the most vile, vulgar individuals you will hear on the radio. He is welcome to his views, but he goes far beyond that. He routinely insults women, and tries to be as racially devisive as he can. For him to represent the Conservative Right is a mystery in itself.

What bothers me most about talk radio is the phony image it presents. Nothing is wrong with being partisan. Nothing is wrong with having opposing views. But I can not stand when people act like they are "fair" and they know they are not. Tune in to any national talk radio for a week and you will hear something about Bill Clinton's affairs. Not once on any of these same programs have they mentioned Newt's, Rudy's etc. Like they dont exist. You didnt hear them mention Rush's drug problems. Bennett's gambling problems and lots of other things that go unmentioned.

Before I had cable or listened to talk radio, I watched NBC, CBS, CNN, etc. What they call the liberal media. I learned everything that was going on with Bill Clinton's problems from those channnels. But when I started watching Fox and listening to talk radio, I noticed that they didnt even mention certain issues concerning folks on the "right". So, personally, I would rather someone give me facts in a biased manner than not give me the information at all.

Its personally sad to me when I look at a person like Matt that I rarely agree with politically, but respect give folks like Rush any credit. Anyone that listens to Rush knows that he does not want cooperation with Democrats and is fond of promoting racial strife. Its obvious that Rush is intelligent, and for that reason, I can not excuse what I know he is aware of. If you do not treat people with respect, you can not act like you are trying to help them. Most of these guys play to every fear and racial stereotype that people have about one another.

Lastly, you will also notice that when someone of an opposing view is allowed to speak, they do not get respect. If I do not agree with you, I have no fear of you speaking. Either you are going to teach me something or I can see where we disagree and give you my point of view.

Ann Coulter may not be big in Talk Radio, but she is often a guest. She made my point for me with her comments on "Hardball". Sad thing is that she will get more popular because for all the folks that will say they do not support how or what she says, someone if buying her books. Sad.If dead children are not off limits, nothing is.
