Fred Thompson has not demonstrated the ability to handle himself in non-scripted situations. He looks like a deer catch in the head-lights at times.

I like him more each time I hear him...
No, he's not Ronald Reagan, and never will be, but i believe he is the only republican running that has both the ability to win AND the moral fiber to lead the GOP in the right, or at least best(better that the rest who have a shot anyway) direction.
I think Mr. Hukabee would make the best president, but he can't win it.
You better start liking Ron Paul - as of 6:30 pm he's raised over $4.5million for the day. That puts him at over $16million for the 4th quarter.
I fail to see why most Evangelical's don't support him. He introduced legislation in the 109th Congress that would've declared life begins at conception and would have overturned Roe vs Wade. Unfortunately, our Republican led Congress and president thinks that we just need the 'right justices' and it got buried in committees.
I guess he's the only one who understands that the Congress can overrule the Court, who knows. It will be a wonderful day whenever Republicans and evangelicals put their money where their mouth is.
Can a conservative explain what is up with every Republican uttering Ronald Reagan's name like he is the gold standard. The funny thing is that his own record does not match the things that folks are attributing to him.
