Did Democrats come from apes?

Well, now.

A leading Christian apologist says he's not at all surprised by the results of a new Gallup poll that finds most Democrats and Independents believe Darwin's theory of evolution is true, but Republicans disbelieve it by a more than 2-to-1 margin. Church attendance, according to the poll, plays a role in those findings.

One can believe in aspects of evolution and not think that man came from ape. Natural selection, adaptation, survival of the fittest, etc. all seem to be scientifically sound. Science generally describes what happens and rarely describes how something happens. When science can describe how something actually occurs, it is never at odds with creation. Scientist propose hypothesis; simply things they believe. Sometimes they are right, sometimes they are wrong. Scientist spend too much time trying to disprove creation and Christians try to much time trying to disprove science. True science is just a discription of how things occur. When enough understanding is acquired, science never contradicts the Bible.
