I recently saw Matt on the news concerning Lott's resignation and the election that must be held. I think he owes Attorney General Jim Hood an apology. Its insulting to suggest that Hood can not do his job without being biased politically. If Hood is basing his reason for the election being at a certain time on the law, there is not much room in there for him to be biased. It actually seems like the fair thing to do would be to get a judge to look at the law concerning the time of the election. The other unfair aspect of the accusation is that if you are going to accuse someone of being biased, you should at least disclose that you are biased. People that do not know Matt could think that he is an unbiased Professor that is just lending his opinion. I do not think I am off base saying that Matt promotes a lot of Republican Party policy
