Okay, Matt. I'll go first, since no one else has commented. I know what Ann meant; I think she might have picked a different way of saying it.
I've heard some Jews who accept Jesus as the Messiah refer to themselves as "completed Jews." I feel fairly sure that's what Ann was driving at, but she used "perfected." The truth is, all of us who are walking after God's plan for our lives are in the process of being "perfected" - that is, being made spiritually mature and complete (look "perfect" up in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and you'll see where I got that from).
However, if someone is going to be offended, the use of one term over another - "perfected" or "completed" - doesn't matter, because there's grounds for offense in either one. The simple fact is, he would have been offended regardless of what she said, simply because she was the one saying it.
Hey, I'm not defending her or taking sides in this. Matt's subhead on this post was "What do you think?", so I was saying what I thought.
Y'all are as entitled to your opinions as I am to mine, Ann is to hers, and the talk show host in question is to his. However, it's much more courageous to put your name to it than to post anonymously, don't you think? After all, one "anonymous" looks a lot like another one to me...

Yeah, Ann Coulter never says anything offensive.
I think she is a nut...
Ann is the best thing to ever happen to the liberal movement. I just hope she keeps talking and writing.
Ann is an idiot. That is plain to see. But, is anyone surprised that religion is being used to divide people? Thus is always so with religion.
